For Trade And Commercial Teams
Our focus is contractors, facilities managers, commercial landlords, schools, offices, factories and other business premises. Enquiries range from a tool package for a fit-out to machines for excavation, material movement and maintenance at height.
We start with the job description, dates and location. If you already have an equipment schedule, include it in your message. If you do not, describe the task and its constraints so the requirement can be discussed.
Make The Constraints Visible
A gate width, floor loading restriction or difficult placement position can change the equipment choice. Our service guides explain the questions that matter before a hire is agreed.
Review tool hire, digger hire and access equipment hire for task-specific guidance. We do not list unverified stock or publish prices that omit the conditions of your job.
Standards And Site Responsibilities
Equipment used at work is subject to relevant duties under PUWER. Lifting equipment and operations bring LOLER duties, while access tasks need assessment under the Work at Height Regulations 2005.
The supplying firm should confirm the equipment specification, instructions and appropriate inspection or examination evidence. The employer and those controlling the work retain their own responsibilities for competence, supervision and site safety.
How Your Enquiry Is Handled
With your agreement, a hire enquiry may be passed to a suitable local firm to discuss the requirement and provide a quotation. Equipment, dates, delivery, terms and responsibilities must be agreed before a booking exists.
Use the contact form to describe the work. Read our privacy notice before sending personal information, and avoid including sensitive or confidential project material.
